Genetically modified organisms (GMOs) are living organisms that have been genetically altered using techniques such as protein engineering and gene cloning. Putting the public concern over the consequences of ingesting the byproducts of genetically altered produce and meats aside, an even larger concern regarding GMOs is the role they play in the over-industrialization of agriculture. This massive industrialization endangers the livelihood of small farmers as well as adversely affects lesser developed countries export capabilities. In the area of meat production, GMOs have consistently produced animals rife with illness and complications, usually resulting in premature death. As can be seen, there is justifiable concern over the use of GMOs in our food supply.

3) What are the similarities and/or differences between weight loss and natural health?

Weight loss and natural health go hand in hand and, as such, are similar in nearly every way. By changing one's eating habits to an all-natural diet, the body undergoes massive changes including the flushing out of by-products left behind by an unhealthy diet. Once the body is healthy, it is becomes easier to exercise and this can lead to a higher level of fitness and weight loss.

4) Do you believe there are incurable diseases?

If natural and healthy living have taught us only one thing, it is that nothing is incurable or, at the very least, uncontrollable. With the arsenal of organic foods and natural remedies at our fingertips, it is simply a matter of knowledge and research to get specific diseases and disorders under control and possibly eradicated completely.

5) What are the purpose and effects of synthetic drugs?

Synthetic drugs have roots in the scientific pursuit of recreating what used to be gathered from natural sources such as plants and animals. The first of these recreated concoctions was aspirin. Over the years, more sophisticated forms of synthetic drugs were produced and along with this production different effects have been found. Not all of these effects are healthy – heart palpitations, nausea, and liver and kidney damage are just a few of the unhealthy side effects caused by synthetic drugs.
